Presenting to the Coalition
We recognize that the alternative fuel and advanced vehicle technology sector is a complex and dynamic landscape. To help all of our Coalition members keep up-to-date of the latest information, we invite interested organizations to speak at our quarterly stakeholder meetings and/or to organize a demonstration of a product for the Coalition. Current/Upcoming Special Funding Opportunities
The Coalition frequently hears of special funding opportunities or receives inquiries about collaborating with other organizations on a grant project. Listed below are those opportunities currently available or expected to become available in the near future for organizations within the greater Houston region. If you are interested in partnering with the Coalition on a project, please complete our Special Funding Opportunity Collaboration Request Questionnaire, and submit it to cleancities@h-gac.com.
Special opportunities that we are currently aware of include:
- FTA's Sustainability Funding Opportunity RFP for transit agencies and state DOTs. Deadline for Clean Fuel grant applications is June 14, 2010 and the deadline for TIGGER grant applications is August 11, 2010.
- 2010 Clean Energy Venture Summit for small businesses seeking venture capital for smart-grid technologies. Deadline to apply is September 1, 2010.
- Growth Energy's Ethanol Infrastructure Development grant program. Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
