Air Quality Grants Awarded

2011 - EPA Clean Vessels for Texas Waters Part 1: $991,041 awarded for upgrade of specific marine vessels.

2011 - State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) Outreach Grant: $2,000 awarded for alternative fuels outreach. Award not received because funds rebudgeted by SECO.

2009 - EPA Award of $9 million to establish a revolving loan fund for heavy-duty truck replacement.

2008 - EPA Grant Award of $200,000 to retrofit/replace specific school buses.

Air Quality Grants Applied For

2011 - EPA Clean Vessels for Texas Waters Part 2: $897,329.50 proposed for upgrade of specific marine vessels.

2011 - EPA BlueMax 200 to the Max in Houston: $351,500 proposed for retrofit of short-haul trucks with BlueMax 200 selective catalytic reduction technology.

2011 - DOT Tools in Your Hands: Interactive Alt-Fuel Station Mapping & Development: $6,080,000 proposed for mapping of alternative fuel station demand mapping and implementation.

2011 - DOE Triangulating the Houston-Galveston EV Network: Integrated Planning for Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure: $312,000 proposed for planning electric charge station demands along highways of the Texas Triangle, the area between Austin-San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston-Galveston.

2009 - DOE ARRA Proposal Submission for $14.5 million to fund 148 alternative fuel vehicles and 62 refueling stations
