LPG Mower Rebate Program Overview
In coordination with other coalitions in the state of Texas, the Greater Houston Clean Cities Coalition is participating in a new propane commerical mower rebate program. The program lasts through the end of 2010 or until funds are exhausted. Highlights and requirements for the program include:
- $100,000 in rebates are available
- Rebates will pay for 20% of the purchase of a new propane mower or 50% of the conversion of an existing mower to propane. Rebates are capped at $2,500.
- Both the vendor and the rebate recipient must be a member of the Clean Cities Coalition in your region. More information on how to become a member of the Greater Houston Clean Cities Coalition is available here.
- There is a limit of 5 rebates per participant
- All mowers must be EPA or CARB certified
