Rebate Grants Program (Closes July 28, 2026)

The Rebate Grants Program provides funding to upgrade or replace on-road heavy-duty diesel vehicles and select non-road equipment in certain areas of Texas.

Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants Program (ERIG) (Closes September 4, 2026)

The Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants Program (ERIG) provides funding to repower or replace older locomotives, marine vessels, stationary equipment, and non-road equipment to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions in Texas.

Texas Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Program (TxVEMP) - All Electric Grant Program (Closes August 31, 2026)

This opportunity will help individuals, state and local governments, corporations, or any other legal entity in replacing or repowering a vehicle or a piece of equipment from one of the categories listed below, and may request additional funding for refueling infrastructure.

  • Class 8 Local Freight and Port Drayage Trucks
  • Class 4-8 School Bus, Shuttle Bus, & Transit Buses
  • Class 4-7 Local Freight Trucks
  • Airport Ground Support Equipment
  • Forklift and Port Cargo Handling Equipment
  • Refueling Infrastructure

New Technology Implementation Grant Program (NTIG)  (Expected to open in May 2026)

Offers grants statewide on a competitive basis to implement new technologies that reduce emissions of pollutants from facilities and other stationary sources.
